Mercedes-Benz 300 SE (W 126) zur Miete in Hamburg
Vermietung Mercedes-Benz 300 SE (W 126)
The S-Class sedan with the development number W 126 presented Mercedes-Benz in the year 1979. The elegant design with smooth surfaces, straight lines and the low air resistance coefficient of only Cw 0.36 at that time incredibly modern. More power with less fuel consumption should be offered by the large Mercedes. With an aerodynamic refinement, consumption-optimized engines and a strong weight reduction, Mercedes successfully used its new S-Class to drink.
The 300 SE presented the approval statistics under all variants and belongs to the so-called second series, which was produced from 1985 onwards. The "gemopfte" (Mopf = model care) car is recognizable by the smooth plastic skins, which were previously strongly corrugated and are often referred to as sacco boards - which chief designer Bruno Sacco did not like to hear. In almost 12 years, approximately 820,000 sedans have been built - the S-Class W 126 is by far the most successful S-Class.
In the 1980s this model appeared regularly in the Tagesschau - as transport means of the Federal Chancellors Helmut Schmidt and Helmut Kohl. That's why his owners also call him "Helmut".
With "Helmut" you can revive the good old days.
